About Us
Hi!
We are Ben and Kristin Prime, both with a deep enthusiasm towards all things cattle, fences, and fields, that ultimately brought us together on this road to creating Prime Farm. We met while in college in upstate NY where Ben found himself working on farms and starting a farm-student outreach program. Kristin was riding horses and dreaming about farming. Kristin had been working and hanging around farms with whoever would take her since she was 10 years old and had dairying dreams!
Our very first conversation was about cows and not much has changed! It didn't take us long to find out that we both had strong ties to Sutton, NH. Kristin having been born and raised there, and Ben having been visiting his family property there since the early 90s!
Sutton was the goal and in 2016 we were able to move and start a family in N. Sutton.
In 2019 we purchased our first 2 cows with the hopes of feeding our family and a few friends. 5 years, 2 kids, and thousands of fence posts later, we have grown into a local source of ethically raised beef. Our mission is to continue our passion of raising quality beef locally. Why? Because we believe that well cared-for, pastured cows taste better and provide nourishing protein you can truly feel good about.
Thank you for your support of local agriculture, humanely raised animals, and healthy soil. Your support is everything to us!
We really look forward to getting to know you.

Where is the Farm?
All around town! Our farm is located on Corporation Hill Road in North Sutton, NH. From May-November, however, our cows have the immense privilege of going to beautiful “summer camp” pastures around town thanks to our amazing land-owners who let our cows mow and fertilize their pastures : ) You will see the cows happily munching grass along Main Street in New London; and in Sutton they can be found tucked behind old stone walls on Hominy Pot road, Corporation Hill road, Baker Road and Muster Field Farm.
